THE IMPORTANT DETAILS
Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 16 October 2026
These terms explain how you may use The Tripaura website and book a trip through it. By creating an account, using booking features, or making a payment, you agree to these terms. Please read the trip page and its specific inclusions, dates, price, payment schedule, and cancellation policy before booking.
1. About the service
The Tripaura provides information about curated group trips and lets travellers create accounts, submit enquiries, and request bookings online. A trip may include services supplied by independent providers such as airlines, hotels, transport operators, guides, activity providers, or local partners. The applicable trip page and written booking confirmation describe the services included in your booking.
2. Eligibility and your account
You must provide accurate, current information when creating an account or booking. Keep your password confidential and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity carried out through your signed-in account, except where applicable law provides otherwise. We may suspend access where we reasonably believe an account is being misused or the information provided is materially false.
3. Trip information and availability
Prices, itineraries, dates, inclusions, group sizes, and seat availability are shown on the relevant trip page and may change before a booking is accepted. Photos and sample itineraries are illustrative; operational changes may be needed because of weather, safety, transport, local conditions, or supplier availability. We will communicate material changes that affect a confirmed booking and work with you on the available options.
4. Booking and payment
A booking request is not confirmed merely because you selected a trip or started checkout. The seat is confirmed after the required payment has been successfully received and verified and a confirmation is shown in your account or sent to you. You may pay the full trip amount or the displayed advance where that option is offered. Any remaining amount and due date will be shown during booking or in your confirmation. If an amount is not paid by its stated due date, contact us promptly; a reservation may be released where the trip-specific terms allow.
Online payments are processed by Razorpay or another payment provider displayed at checkout. The provider’s own terms also apply to payment processing. The Tripaura does not store your card number or banking credentials.
5. Cancellations, changes, and refunds
Cancellation charges, refund eligibility, change fees, and timelines depend on the trip and the suppliers involved. The cancellation and refund terms displayed for your specific departure before payment form part of that booking. If a trip-specific policy is not displayed or is unclear, contact us and get written clarification before paying. Do not rely on a general statement on this page as a substitute for the departure-specific policy. Approved refunds are sent to the original payment method where supported; bank or payment-provider processing times may apply.
If The Tripaura must cancel or materially change a confirmed trip, we will contact affected travellers and explain the available options under the applicable trip terms and law.
6. Traveller responsibilities
You are responsible for checking passport validity, visa and entry requirements, travel advisories, health requirements, and documents required for your journey. These rules can change and depend on your nationality and route. Share accurate traveller details by the deadlines communicated to you, arrive at the stated meeting points on time, and follow reasonable safety instructions from trip leaders and service providers. Tell us before booking about accessibility or other needs so we can discuss what can be arranged.
7. Third-party services and events outside our control
Some trip components are delivered by independent suppliers. Their service terms may apply to those components. We will use reasonable care in selecting and coordinating suppliers, but an event outside reasonable control—such as severe weather, natural events, public health measures, strikes, transport disruption, or government action—may affect the itinerary. We will communicate practical changes and options as soon as reasonably possible. Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be limited.
8. Website content and acceptable use
Website text, photographs, branding, and other content belong to The Tripaura or its licensors and may not be copied for commercial use without permission. Do not interfere with the website, attempt unauthorised access, submit unlawful or misleading information, or use the service to harm others.
9. Contact and complaints
For booking questions, changes, or complaints, contact The Tripaura at hello@thetripaura.com or call +91 92204 79977. Include your booking reference where relevant so we can help efficiently.
10. Governing law and updates
These terms are governed by the laws of India, subject to applicable consumer-protection rights and the jurisdiction of competent courts. We may update these terms when our service or legal requirements change. The version published here applies from its stated update date; material changes will be highlighted where appropriate.
